Invitation to the Kick-off Meeting: Project Group “E2E Security in Industrial Dataspaces”
When: April 29, 2026, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm (reception from 9:30 am.) All participants are invited to a lunch at Intel.
Where: Intel Deutschland GmbH, Dornacher Str 1, 85622 Feldkirchen
The European industry needs resilient supply chains. In the funded project Semiconductor-X, a team of 30 partners is developing the concept for interoperable data exchange in the semiconductor industry. The project also serves as the security reference for the entire Manufacturing-X program, covering a large part of German industry (automotive, aerospace, chemicals, energy, mechanical engineering).
Data exchange is highly sensitive: IP and manufacturing data represent billions in value. Currently, this initiative is strongly driven by data space architects – now the security community is needed! We want to turn security from a “blocker” into an “enabler”.
The goal of this project group is to jointly define a future-proof, end-to-end security concept for the industrial data space that will become the blueprint for secure digital collaboration across all industrial sectors. This is arguably one of the most critical challenges for Europe today: without a standardized, highly secure, yet cost-effective data exchange, Europe’s industry cannot achieve the resilience and sovereignty needed to survive in a disaggregated global economy.
